Where to download archive file for last LTS version (7.13)?

Steffen Menzel April 10, 2019

I want to download the 7.13 core version as archive file, but cannot find it anywhere.

Because 7.13 seems to be the current LTS version I don't understand why it is not available as archive file. I need the archive file because of following reasons:

- Installation without OrcaleJava
- Installation into custom directory path by ansible script

If you go to https://www.atlassian.com/software/jira/update - then click on "View all versions" next to the current version number, you should see a popup window, on that window in the bottom left you can change from 8.x to 7.x and you'll then see the various versions - pick the 7.13.y version you need and off you go!

You can also just grab the download link for the current version (say you need the .tar.gz option) - which is:

https://www.atlassian.com/software/jira/downloads/binary/atlassian-jira-software-8.1.0.tar.gz

The URL structure seems to be very consistent, so just change the 8.1.0 to whatever version you're after.

On https://www.atlassian.com/software/jira/update are only listed the Software-version of JIRA, but not the Core version.

Anyhow, the second advice brings the solution: If I select the tar.gz-file for 8.1.0 of the core version and change it to the 7.13 version, I can successfully download the file:

https://www.atlassian.com/software/jira/downloads/binary/atlassian-jira-core-7.13.0.tar.gz

Thanks.
