Our product (Product) consumes a number of components, each with heir own Jira projects. If a bug is found in componentA that blocks us, then we need to be aware of it and track it.
We tried adding a label to the bug in productA and creating a query to track those labels. This worked fine but the weakness is we couldn't tell which build of Product would consume the fix in componentA.
Cloning looks like the best fit but does it give us a live view of the bug in componentA? If a field is changed in componentA bug, is it reflected in the cloned bug for Product?
