I have set up a request type for a service desk project which has been created with a custom issue type and workflow. The fields that are required have been added to the request screen. However when I input the request details and click create I receive the error message below:
image2016-4-7 14:38:21.png
I have re added the request type, I have removed the issue type from the issue type scheme, re added the issue type to the workflow it is associated with and re-indexed the project and JIRA. There are no other request types receiving this error however it is the only request type associated with this issue type. I am a JIRA system administrator and have the correct permissions as well.
Can anyone provide some insight as to what I might have missed that could be causing this?
JIRA service desk version 3.1.2
Does the log show any errors at the time it throws this error?

Ok, I think what's happening is that you have set up an automation rule that is tied to the request and it's trying to do something clever. But the project and/or desk has been reconfigured and invalidated what it's trying to do.
