The Burndown API response (json) data throws data different from the burndown in the Jira UI

Hi,

We use the APIs to do our own analysis of the data.

One of the APIs is of Burndown where there are 2 points:

1. The response is intermittently different from the burndown we see in the UI. This leads to data discrepancy.
   The response is confusing and complex to decode as well
2. Is there any API that can throw the burndown data in the same format as we see in the UI (everyday story points added/deleted)

Hi @Abhishek Das,

What APIs are you referring to? Per my knowledge, the reporting APIs are not available on Cloud, as they are, for example, on Data Center. 

Maybe it's time to think to a better and simpler solution for tracking your projects. 

Our Great Gadgets app offers advanced sprint burndown and release burndown with forecast charts and many other metrics in real time, without being necessary to spend time to extract data from Jira and then manually process it in tools like Excel.

My understanding is that there is no option in Cloud to get the data shown in the UI but Data center still have the grasshopper APIs one can use to get this. Can you tell what end point are you using to get this data?
