Sort my Issues on JIRA System Dashboard

How may I sort (and save that sort for next time) issues on the JIRA Dashboard, both Assigned to Me and Watched Issues, so that the sort is by Key, or Due Date?

If you apply a sort on the filter associated with the gadgets it will render the issues in that order each time it loads.  The two delivered gadgets you referenced, you will have to order them each time you open the dashboard.  You can however create the same results through a filter and use the filtered results gadget to display the results in the order you would like.

My dashboard is now perfect and minimal, showing only exactly what I want to see and saving my sort preference in the way that I want.
