I would like the sprint burndown chart to show the time remaining estimates instead of the issue count or story points. Is it possible to change this somewhere in the project? It is a Next Generation project.

The vertical axis in the sprint burndown chart represents amount of work; either number of issues or story points (if Estimates is enabled). However I would like the time remaining to be used.

I click on sprint burndown chart, choose the sprint, and don't see the time remaining as an option in the drop down list.

Hello @pizaurralde

Thank you for reaching out.

Per your description and screenshot, I understand you are looking for the option to estimate the Sprint Burndown report of Next-gen projects based on the Remaining estimate field. Is that correct?

Indeed, this option is not available in Next-gen projects today, although we have the following feature request opened to implement it:

Next-Gen Sprint Burndown Report by Time

Feel free to vote and watch the suggestion to increase its priority and also receive notifications about any updates.

For now, you can use a Classic project to properly estimate your Burndown report based on the remaining estimate. The following documentation gives you the proper instructions to move your data to a Classic project if choose this option:

Migrate between next-gen and classic projects

Additionally to that information, I would like to mention that the Next-gen template provides a simpler project with fewer customization options (Similar to Trello) intended to those customers that feel overwhelmed by all the complexity of Jira Classic projects. That being said, I suggest you the Classic project template for more reports and time tracking reports.

Let us know if you have any questions.
