Hi!
I'm trying to install Jira, Stash and Bamboo in combination with Crowd SSO.
I got 3 virtual CentOS servers. All servers do have a DNS entry in our corporate network. The FQDN's are: jira.ourdomain.local, stash.ourdomain.local and bamboo.ourdomain.local.
ourdomain.local is configured as domain search suffix, so when a user navigates to http://jirahe sees the jira loginpage. The crowd cookie is made for the .ourdomain.local domain. So SSO will not work. Users have to go to http://jira.ourdomain.localexplicitly to make SSO work.
Is there a solution to make this work for the simple URLs (without ourdomain.local)?
Thanks in advance!
Marco Mans
Hi Marco, if you leave the SSO Domain field empity, the cookie will be set to the domain that the resquests are made. However this means that if you login using the URL http://jirathe cookie will be valid to the URLs without ourdomain.local, but will be invalid to all URLs using ourdomain.local
I hope it helps.
Cheers
