I'm planning to federate Jira Cloud to Okta using SAML. I'm wondering if once activated SAML is still possible to have some users that log-in using their password, instead the federated IdP.
I mean, is it possible to configure each single user and choose to use SAML federation or password authentication (or both)?
Or once activated SAML all users need to login using the new IdP?
This is totally possible, for users needing the non SSO login. You need to create a new user via the user management area and add the email address there. I also believe that the email address can not be the same as an SSO account and an Atlassian account.
