We're using BitBucket and JIRA. Recent compliance requires that all check in to production branch are linked to some ticket. We have already enforced check in to release branch only via pull request. How can we restrict pull request or merging pull request that has no JIRA linked to it ?
Take a look at Jira Hooks for Bitbucket and Simple Bitbucket Commit Checker, both will check the commit to make sure that the user have mentioned a Jira issue in it. I am not aware of an app that would allow you to do the same thing on the Pull Request, so you would have to write your own.
