Pull data from JIRA by REST API

Hi community,

I´m investigating how to setup a proper solution to pull data from JIRA for BI.

We have created a filter for gathers all needed jira cases.
The REST API should make it possible to call/request JIRA and pull data.

Any specifications and experiences about how and what to do would be much appreciated.

Any suggestions on how to extract data from JIRA Align to Excel ? there is an export option but the desired outcome is to be able to refresh the data from Excel

I have not used Jira Align before, and after a quick look at Atlassian's information on it, I did not see anything obvious for your use case.  You may want to work with your site admin to contact the support team for this one.
