We've been using JIRA for several years on a project and now we had to install it on a different network for a separate project. After installing it and creating a Project, the list of available Issue Types has me a bit confused. The new project only had Bug, Task, and Sub-task issue types. We manually added Improvement and New Feature, but the icons are the default grey boxes with a circle (Capture.PNG). I figured these would be standard to all installations, is there a reason these issue types weren't available by default?
Please ask your JIRA administrator to apply the right issue type scheme for your new project. Once the correct issue type scheme isapplied the other issue types will re-appear,

The problem i sour Default Issue Type Scheme did not include these Issue Types. We had to manually create them. The only available Issue Types for a scheme were very limited as shown here:

Since we manually created the New Feature and Improvement issue types, that only leaves 5 issues types that were available by default. Should there not have been more?
