Jira Script: authorization for transitions

Hello everyone,

 

I need some help for writing a script which can check whether a user has the permission to change the status of an issue. For that I want to say that only the users A and B are allowed to change the status of any issues from status 1 to status 2.

Can anyone write me a script and explain me how it works?

Hello,

You do not need to write a script. Just add these users to a role or a group and use the User is in Group or User is in Role workflow condition.
