Jira Keeps defaulting to xray tasks

Hi,

 

I have installed the xray plugin in our Jira, now when I open a new issue it defaults to test. 

 

I have followed the default options (setting default in issue value and moving story to the top of that lane), this has had no effect.

 

I would be grateful of any advice.

Thank you very much for using Xray Server. 
In the Xray Server context we do not manage the default options of the issues to create in the "Create Issue" option. In this case you should check with the Atlassian team to see if it is possible to manage the issue type that appears as default.
