Two doubts I have:

1. I have admin access for github account but not for jira board. My scrum master has admin access on Jira board. Can my scrum master use my github Client ID      and Client Secret to do the required configuration on his Jira board to integrate it with github??

2. If temporarily, I get the admin access of Jira board or my scrum master get the admin access on github account. And all the required configuration is done and integration of github and Jira board is also done. After this, if admin access is revoked for me on Jira or if admin access is removed for my scrum master on github, will the integration of jira and github still exist??

Please help me ASAP.

Thanks

Hello @kumarirakhi ,

You can also do live synchronization between both Jira and Github. If you sync them there will be no need of passing the admin rights to each other.

I'm Riddhi from the Exalate team, which is a live synchronization tool. Exalate is made for the use case you described. As it allows syncing information bi- and uni-directionally between Github and Jira instances.

It's mega flexible, you can sync all types of information, including comments, attachments and custom fields. You can control what to sync and whatnot, and much more ....

By the way, It might also be useful to set up a live video-discussion to demonstrate how Exalate would get set up for your use case

Would that be valuable to you? You can book a suitable slot here.

Cheers,

Riddhi
