JIRA adds a 'false' at the end of URLs

Mihai Mihai July 4, 2019

Sometimes, when opening an issue, JIRA adds 'false' add the end of the URL.

Sometimes, it doesn't. I can't find any clear pattern when that happens or not.

Does anyone know when/why that appears?

Thank you!

I know of one time that "#false" appears at the end - while creating a request in the customer portal, if you fail validation (leave a required field empty, for example), "#false" will be appended to the URL.
