We have a field on our tickets which we use to designate the customer associated with the ticket. We have several filter/reports that we run that are all identical except for that they are filtered by the customer. Is there anyway to achieve this without having to create Filters for every single client?
I'm afraid not. Filters are simple flat saved blocks of JQL.
Some reports, functions and gadgets will take filters and allow some drill downs, but it depends very much on the report.
