How do we activate issue notifications?

All of the notification schema settings seem to be accurate yet we are not receiving any notifications when issues are created or updated.

Hey Eric,

Since JIRA is not sending notifications for issues although the notifications scheme has been configured properly, I believe that this may happen perhaps because the project is not mapped to the notifications scheme. Hence, can you kindly check if the project have been associated to the notification scheme? You may go to the project configuration screen via Administration > select the project > Notifications > Scheme.
