Hours Display in time tracking - New Issue View

It looks like the time tracking remaining hours view always displays in the "friendly" view iE 2w 3d 5h.

I set the default in Jira to always display on hours. Maybe I am missing something but is seems in the new view, this setting is ignored.

Am I correct is this/

Hello Scott,

You are correct in mention that the Time tracking field is not respecting the global setting in the New Issue View, always choosing the friendly display independently of your choice.

In fact, we have reported it as a bug to our development team. You can check their progress in the link below:

- New issue detail view won't display the Time estimate in hours

Feel free to vote and watch the bug to receive notifications about the bug fixing or any available workarounds.

For now, the only option would be to turn off the New issue view on Personal Settings to have the functionality working again.
