Hi,
I want to have a story automatically modified if:
a parent Epic contains a label with value << MANAGEMENT>>
Then this label with the value << management>>
copied to the underlying issue User story
The Epic can be in another project so it must be a Global Automation.
Who can help me with the correct rule.
Greetings Eric
Hello @Eric Roetenberg
Have you tried creating this rule? Please show us what you have so far.
What events should trigger this rule?
1. If the Labels field in the Epic is changed?
2. If a story is added to the Epic?
3. If a story is moved from one Epic to another?
4. If the parent Epic Labels field is modified to remove that value, should the child story also be modified to remove the value?
Hi Trudy
It is intended that this automation rule will run every night for a particular project
Grtz. Eric

You could do this with this sort of rule
Trigger: Scheduled
-- with JQL to select the Epics yyou want to apply this too
i.e.
issuetype=Epic and Labels in ("<your Label value>")
For Each Branch: Related issues/Children
Action: Edit Issue
-- Field: Labels
-- Add Labels
---- your Label value

And is that rule working for you? Or do you have additional questions?

In what manner is it not working?
What information is in the Audit Log for the rule execution?
The Audit Log will show you when the rule executed, and what issues were selected by the JQL in the trigger. It will show you the issues where actions were executed.
no, it doesn't work yet
