Field 'cycleName' does not exist or you do not have permission to view it

Helen Ahlberg February 27, 2019

project = "X" AND fixVersion = "Y" AND cycleName in ("Z")" from Issue Search

but get the error cycleName does not exist or you do not have permission to view it.

We can see this cycle in Zephyr module but the issue search is necessary for the XML export of the result.

The export XML feature works differently (better) from search issue for some reason.
Can you advise what to do to get full access in Zhephyr?

Hi @Helen Ahlberg ,

It sounds like you were trying to search and export using the “Issue Search” feature which doesn’t include the JQL for cycleName. This is causing you to get an error stating that cycleName doesn’t exist.

The JQL for cycleName exists in our “Search Test Executions” feature. The “Search Test Executions” feature is similar in that you can search executions of test issues, filter it using JQL, and then export it to the format you desire.

To complete what you are trying to do, you would need to go to the “Search Test Executions” feature in the “Tests” menu. You can use the screenshots below for visual help (please be aware, these screenshots are for ZFJ server and if you’re using ZFJ cloud, the “Tests” menu is located on the left-hand navigation)
