Count emails send based on issue (JETI)

Hi Community,

i need to count all outgoing emails on an issue (jira email this issue sends the mails).

Inside the activitys tab i can see all emails in and outgoing, but i need a field inside my issues where a number with send mails will be visible, my idea was to use one of the calculated field types coming from jira misc custom field for that, but i cant find anything on www that will show me examples of how to access the required information.

I hope some of you have an idea of how to solve this. (maybe in another way as well)

What do you think count using linux utils (grep, wc, sort) from outgoing email logs?
