Change who tests are automatically assigned to

We use Zephyr - so when we resolve an issue in Jira it creates a linked Test type issue

The problem I have is that they get assigned to a person who has left the company - where do I change that please

Welcome to Atlassian community!

As a JIRA Administrator, you can change the default assignee of the project y performing the steps below:

- Navigate to your Project > Project Settings > Details

- Change the default assignee

Additionally, you can still add a default assignee by using plugins or workflow post functions, so let me know if the steps above do not work for you so we can keep troubleshooting it.

Thanks for responding - I already have that part set correctly - that isn't what I was asking

When I resolve a Bug, New Feature etc Jira automatically creates a Test work item, and that Test work item is automatically assigned to someone else - and that is what i need to change
