Change Assignee for different transition for the same component in JIRA

Hello All,

Need Help !!

Is it possible to configure the XYZ Component in the ABC project such that tickets are automatically assigned:

• To user User1 at stage status1 and status2.
• To user User2 at stages status3, status4, status5, status6.
• To ticket requestor at stages status7 and status8 in the workflow.

Please suggest

You will need to write code in post-functions, code that can read the current components and set the assignee as you require it.

Components in Jira can have only one assignee and it cannot be changed based on workflow statuses and transitions.
