My Product Management team hopes to setup a Kanban board for new intakes as part of our Product Management workflow. The features that exist when you create a new "software project" best fit our needs, however the software project doesn't automatically include the "Forms" functionality that you can create a template for Business teams to submit their new idea.
Is it possible for a Software Project to include the "Forms" functionality? If yes, how do we enable this on a new Software Project?
Additionally, outside of utilizing Jira Align, does anyone have good recommendations for how Product Management teams manage new initiative intake via Atlassian product that is not bucketed into the Premium package?
Thanks in advance for all the help!
I think the Forms feature is only available for Jira Work Management (Business projects) and Jira Service Management projects. Here's an article talking about Jira Forms on a Business project, and then it goes on to talk about a marketplace add-on to use Forms in other project types.
Just to add what @Connor is mentioning, at the moment you cannot create new issues using the new Forms, you can only add Forms to existing issues in JSW. If you need to create issues from a form your options are to use JWM or JSM.
