I'm having problems importing excel files to jira when the excel files contains more than 250 rows.
Atteched is a image of the validation data. Is there any way i can import more than 250 issues?
If you are a site admin you can use the External System Importer to bypass the 250 limit.
Once your CSV file has been prepared, log into your Jira Cloud site as a Jira administrator to start the import process.
Upload your file
Choose
> System.
In the Import and Export section, click External System Import and then click CSV.
Choose your CSV source file.
Leave the Use an existing configuration file option unchecked if you do not have a configuration file or if you want to create a new one. Configuration files specify a mapping between column names in your CSV file's header row and fields in your Jira site. At the end of the CSV import process, Jira will create a configuration file that you can use for subsequent CSV imports.
Expand the Advanced section to change the file encoding (UTF-8 by default) and CSV delimiter. If your CSV file uses a separator character other than a comma, specify that character in the CSV Delimiter field.
Click Next.
Thanks,
Tim

I made the upgrade to 2 Gb but I'm stilll having problems import files with more than 250 rows. Is there any other change in settings I could do?

Hi @Paula Garavagno ,
Welcome to the community.
As the error says, jira is configured that only 250 issues can be imported at once. You need administrator permissions (or ask your administrator), to change this settings. Another way would be to import the csv in the system settings are, there is no such limit, but you need administrator permission again.
Or you split your csv in multiple files and import one after the other.

Hi @Tim Perrault & @Bastian Stehmann
Do you know why it takes so much time to import issues form csv? I'm importing 16 issues and it's 37% completion after 2 hours!!
