Hello - I am looking to get some help with setup of an automation rule/s to handle linked issues with 'Blocked By' / 'is blocking' link statuses.
I have gotten 50% of the way there - I have attached a screenshot of my progress.
High-line Outline of my desired result:
I need some help figuring out how to monitor the transition of the Main issue to trigger the latter part of this automation to happen. I wasn't sure if I should use the : 're-fetch issue data' or something else?
Any help is appreciated. Below is the screenshot of the automation rule.

Hi @Cam
The second step need to be in a separate automation rule.
"When issue transition" is the base case for the rule, in this already set up as "when issue linked", so you must use a new rule for that step
I had a hunch that was the case... Thank you @Nir Haimov -- I have 2 quick follow up questions - Would there be an alternative setup to get both legs of this automation done in the same automation rule?
If not, can you give me a suggestion / direction on starting the second rule? Is there anything straight forward I can do? Or maybe create a smart value of sorts?
Just realized your answer included this already.
Thanks for the help - I appreciate your time!

Below is a screenshot of what I have setup. I added two checks in there regarding Assignee and Sprint - to ensure the issue is not a 'Backlog' issue.
I hope this helps. Its been working pretty well so far!

^ This is exactly what mine looks like. I also have a check to be sure the 'Status is NOT 'DONE''

@Cam great question and I was actually struggling with your first part. your 2nd half I had working, but the answers improved my process - Thanks to those responders.
Could you be so kind to share how you did your first part? I am trying to increase communications for both sides of my blocked items.
