Acceptance criteria is not displayed on the old issue view

andrew_jollie@slc.co.uk August 15, 2019

I find the old issue view better but 1 thing that doesn't seem to work with it is the acceptance criteria. It can be viewed on the new issue view but not the old. Anyone else had this issue? If so it their a way to get this to display?

Hello andrew_jollie@slc.co.uk,

Please specify what is "acceptance criteria".

Jira does not have such functionality/field by default so it must be a custom field or a plugin that your Jira admin added/configured.

Once we know what is "acceptance criteria" in your Jira, then we will be able to advise the best solution.

Also, are you on Server or Cloud Jira?

Cheers,
Jack

Hi, The acceptance criteria is a field within the issue. Its a free text field for users to imput issue details.

Its on Jira Cloud

Thanks

You need to add a filed to the View Issue screen then: https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiracloud/defining-a-screen-776636475.html

Managed to get it, seemed that the default did not have the correct fields. Thanks

I'm glad it helped.

You might want to "accept" the answer to help others find it more quickly.

Thanks,
Jack
