I'm hoping I'm just missing something but my organization uses both Jira "Work" Management and Jira "Service" Management for different purposes.
In our Jira Work Management issues, real time collaboration is available but this does not seem to be the case in Jira Service Management where it would be much more useful in making sure a ticket is not being worked on by multiple agents at the same time.
I've been searching for this for a while and finally found the article I linked above listing this as a function of Jira Work Management.
Anyone have "real" info on this available?
I received an answer from support in my ticket request.
Short version is that it is not currently available but there is a feature request for it. If you are interested, please hit this link, add your vote and comment to help spur it along!
Viable details from their response is below:
Visual indicators when multiple users are editing or viewing a Jira Issue are not available out of the box but our team understands how it may be valuable to some businesses, so we have an open feature request for this issue, which can be found here:
I would like to suggest that you both vote for this issue (by clicking 'Vote for this issue') and leave a comment to express your thoughts and provide additional information. This will increase its visibility to our development team.
Please also be sure to watch it, so that you are notified when this is fixed in a future release.
Hi Tony,
That is correct real time collaboration is not yet available for Jira Service Management projects.
