we are trying to dertermine if we should expand hour business hours
for that i need a stat to show the numbers of ticket created outside of business hours.
i need data from the last 6 month. As there is a limit for exporting data from a filter i would like to show the amount in a dashbord but i don't seems to be able to find a gadget
any hints ?
Hey, @Mona Schnell. You can create a JQL filter adjusting for your business hours and timezone, save and use it in a dashboard with the "Two Dimensional Filter Statistics" gadget, for example. This should allow you to visualize the data directly on your dashboard without exporting it.
Hi @Mona Schnell,
Not sure this this is possible in Jira at the JQL level or native gadgets.
One easy way to achieve this is by using the Pivot Table and Pivot Chart gadget offered by our Great Gadgets app.
You can configure this gadget to display a statistic with the the number of issues reported every hour of day, for the issues created in the last 6 months. And from here, to extract the number of issues created out-side business hours.
The statistic can be displayed in various formats.
As a simple or heat map table like this:
As a chart, like this bar histogram. You can choose from other chart types like pie, bar, stacked, area etc.
There might be some other gadgets offered by our app, like Issue Filter Formula gadget or Advanced Issue Filter Formula gadget that might be useful for this case. I agreed with what @Ivan Lima suggested. You can construct your JQL to obtain those desired issues. When creating the JQL filter, please remember that by default the query is private. This means that only you can access and view the result.
The same applies to dashboard that by default it is private to the creator and need to be shared to others. NOTE - It is important that you share both your query filter and dashboard accordingly. If you only shared the dashboard, but not the query filter, then users will get errors when accessing your dashboard.
When using the gadgets, you can also use Filter results gadget to see more detailed view of the result set versus the "Two Dimensional Filter Statistics" gadget. Lastly, the max limit of display results set is at 50 issues - meaning 50 rows for the gadget. When using "Filter results" gadget, one can click the next page in the gadget to see the next 50 issues etc...
Hope this also helps.
