is it possible to edit the "from" setting for customer notifications in jira service desk.

I found a system level setting but it only applies to agent notifications

Hi Kim,

At the current time, I don't believe it is possible to change this within Service Desk natively.  There is a feature request still open where some other customers have requested this ability.  Please see https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSDSERVER-702 for details.

As a possible alternative, it might be possible to do this with a 3rd party plugin for Jira.   I believe that the Jirassimo Emails Reminders Notifications can be configured to do this in a manner from looking at their documentation.  But there could also be other marketplace plugins available that could do this.
