Hi @Saqib Dar ,

Assign buton appears for all users that have Assign permissions in your project.

You could hide that butto for specific statuses in your workflow using the workflow properties  https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver/workflow-properties-938847526.html

Please, take in mind that if you restrict assign, assignee field will not appear on the transition screen from that status.
