help to create an automation rule

HI community, i need some help to create an automation rule.

Context:

- I have some custom fields in the request type

- I need to create a rule that the trigger is when a date indicated in one of those custom fields (Course End Date) is met.

Problem:

- i can´t make a reference to this custom field using this smart value:

{{issue.Course End Date.name}}

How i can setup the rule for the trigger correctly?

@Dario Alarcón -

You should just use {{issue.Course End Date}} to reference your custom field.  Why do you want to use ".name" in the smart value?

Hope this helps.

Hi @Joseph Chung Yin,  i used ".name" due to it was in the smart values documentation, maybe i had a wrong interpretation.
