I have a custom field in JSM, cloud version
If the service request is empty, i want to force the user to update the field, before the ticket is closed.
How can i do this?

You can do this by editing your workflow to add a Field Required validator to the transaction to Done. If you want to get really fancy, create a new screen and add the Field to the screen. Then also add the screen to the same transition.

I don't see a "field required validator" in the workflow transaction rules.
You mention the screen, created a screen and added the field, but does not force the agent to fill it out.
