connected email account connectivity goes down with the admins un-aware of it. how to be notified as admins that an email connected account is no longer reacheable , or having troubles ... ?

I am assuming that you are using a custom email account. I am not aware of anything that will let you know in JSM if it is down other than the logs. You could go the other way and if mail has not been popped you can send a message from the email account.
