Why was my outgoing mail disabled and when will it be restored?

Got this status:

Disabled

Outgoing mail was disabled by Anonymous on 14/Oct/23 5:25 PM.

From System Outgoing mail.

What do I need to do to get this fixed?

Hi @George Sergent , is it possible that another admin has done this? Could you go into project settings and then email requests and have a look what's going on there?

Hello Jack and others,

Great News, I was able to enable outbound email and it worked. I enabled it from system configuration. Before, enabling was not possible. Whatever you did, thank you very much and I am now a very happy Jira camper.
