Why does the portal Requests view default to all?

In the JSM Portal view, if I click on my profile picture, then "Requests" I am taken to a view of the requests where the filters are set to:

  • Status: Open Requests
  • Users: All
  • Request Type: Empty

Shouldn't the 2nd option default to "Created by me"? Otherwise I'm looking at all sorts of requests that have nothing to do  with me.
