Issue description

After upgrading our Jira service instance on our local server to version 9.x, We then noticed that whenever we want try to share a comment with a user, an alert modal appears asking "Are you sure you want to send this message to the user?" with an Ok and Cancel button. When we click the Ok button, the comments gets posted and that's fine. But whenever we click the Cancel button, the comment still get's posted instead of cancelling the operation.

Expected Result

The Cancel button shouldn't proceed to post the comment, rather it should stop the operation.

1.) Entered the comment

2.) Clicked cancel on the alert modal.

Hi @Oshoname Odiomonafe welcome the community.  If you have a repeatable process, this sounds like a workflow issue that Atlassian may need to take a look at.  I don't have server to test this exact situation with, and I've looked at Atlassian's Jira site for a similar issue, but didn't find anything.  You can open a ticket with Atlassian at support.atlassian.com/contact. I'm figuring they are going to need detailed steps to replicate the issue.

Hope that helps.
