Why do Inbound references between assets appears as duplicate?

Hi,
Two questions regarding linked objects in JSM Assets:
1. Why do inbound references show as duplicate? For example, Optimus UAV's in the screen shots below show as the actual quantity in parentheses (2), but when opened all objects appear twice (4 in total). This happens with several different objects and schema, but only in inbound references.
This makes using references very difficult for our team.
2. Is it possible to preview an object attribute (for example status="active" etc.) as part of the linked object view seen in the screen shot below? I would like to be able to see an object name + object status as part of the preview (UAV 368, Active).
