Where can I find the actual smartvalues that work in Jira datacenter version 9.12

The smartvalues, that are listed in the Jira official documentation, such as the following, do not work in E-Mails sent using Jira automation:

• {{issue.status.changed.date}}
• {{issue.updated}}

I've also tried it without the "issue.' prefix, which works for some other smartvalues, but not for these.

How can I actually find out which smartvalues work for our specific Jira version?
