When setting parent in plan restrict done epics from selection

When working in a plan in Jira, how do I restrict or hide done epics from being selectable as a parent? I also don't see a way to identify if an epic is done when it is in the parent list.

Hi @Jenessa McRoy

Change the plan settings and set Done items view to 0 or empty, but this will mean for all issue types.

Or change the source of your plan, bas this upon a filter where you exclude Done Epics.

Show the status column in the plan, this can be done via the "fields" drop-down in the plan.
