What is your experience with the JSM Chat feature in Teams?

I would like to set up the Chat feature within Teams, with an Agent channel and a Request channel.  However, I've started wondering what this experience will be like for everyone.  For instance, will everyone in the enterprise see all chats in the Request channel?  What is your experience like, if you've set this up?
