I have two problems regarding watchers:

  1. I am an agent and project admin for a team-managed project. I am receiving "watcher" notifications for what it seems like all existing tickets although I am not a watcher for any of them. How do I turn this off? I have checked the internal notifications, for the projects, the project roles, and my personal notification settings and I don't see anything that could be causing this. There isn't any automation set up that automatically makes agents/admins a watcher.
  2. My understanding of the 'watch your issues enabled' personal setting that if turned on, a user will automatically be added as a watcher if they make an internal comment, post a public comment/reply, or change the status of the request. The watcher status is not happening for our team if we change the status of the ticket. We have tried many different requests types and status types.jira watcher.pngjira.png
