Want to create automation rule which will notify IT group when expiry date is near for particular asset like laptop or any software. so how can we use that automation templates and the which fields will be supporting?.
Hi,
I would create an automation rule with a 'scheduled' trigger and with a 'Lookup objects' as the first action. That way there would be no need to create issues to point at the assets.

Nice catch Sune!
Thanx for mentioning the no need of creating issue.

Hi @Juilee Patil and welcome to the community,
Assets cloud do not support automation, like the one on server/DC. It is support though via jira automation and via an issue. This mean that an asset should be included in a issue in order to get the expiry date and notify the jira admin.
