Using message variables on JIRA Service Desk Notifications

Hi guys,

I've been setting up our customer notifications for JIRA Service Desk and I'd like to be able to use a message variable that only displays the First Name of the recipient and not the Full Name like when using ${recipient.name}.  Is there a different variable available?

Hello Everyone,

Unfortunately, we don't have a variable today to mention only the first name of the person receiving the notification in Jira Service desk.

We see the value of this feature, so we created the following suggestion to get it implemented:

Add a notification variable to only display the first name of the recipient 

Feel free to vote and watch the suggestion to increase its priority and also receive notifications about any updates.

Does anyone know if the first name option has been updated? for JIRA service Desk notifications?

Using ${recipient.name}, only displays full name and is really out of touch with customer comms.
