Hello,

I added new user to our Jira Service Management (Heldesk) with access only to JSM. I made sure to remove any other access to Jira Software Product for this user.

When the user login he cannot see any JSM existing projects (but he can creates new projects) and he can see all Jira Software projects we have. He even can create new  issues in Jira Software Project.

In the User management, this user has no access to JSP and doesnt belongs to any group having access to Jira Software neither.

does anyone have idea about the origin of this issue?

thank you for your help

Hello @Digika Support

You can check a permission scheme of the project and use a Permission helper to check the user permissions: Project settings - > Permissions - > Permission helper

Permission helper is a very helpful tool for troubleshooting the issue with access.

Perhaps, you just need to add a user to the appropriate project role: Project Settings-> People and fix permission schemes on the software projects. They can use any-logged access for create issue permision,  for example.

thank you for your help @Natalya Ozhigova

I fixed the issue by adding permissions to that user in each project of Helpdesk. it appears that assigning him general access to JSM dont gave him automatical access to older projects.
