Hello there,

I am trying to find documentation for Insight LDAP importer.

The existing documentation is quite light, and their is no uses cases or exemples, that could be good to help me understand how we can use this importer.

For instance if we are able to link and add some date on Jira User profile using this importer...

Do you have any feedback, experience or documentation to share ?

Thanks a lot.

Hi @Patrice Champet ,

using Insight LDAP import will enable you to import user related data into insight objects.
Best idea is, to also create a jira user attribute in the object and fill it with the right Jira user.

After importing, you can then create a new custom field connected to this Insight data. You will then be able to show these information on Jira issues, in context to the current reporter for example. We usually use this in our JSM projects to display customer data.

If you would like to populate profile fields, you could use the app Active Directory Attributes Sync
