Hello,
I’m Richard, and since January, I have been managing the systems for our organization, particularly for a specific project. While the transition process has been somewhat completed, our previous admin, K, was put on leave without properly transferring the JIRA project admin role.
Initially, everything seemed to be running fine, but now a critical issue has come up that requires admin privileges(rights). I must be assigned as the project admin to resolve this.
I need immediate assistance on how to gain admin access and make the necessary settings changes. This is not just a general inquiry—I need direct action from the JIRA team. I do not need 'How about trying this way?' things.
Please assist me as soon as possible.

Unfortunately, we cannot intervene in your Atlassian instance, You will need to contact or someone else in your company who is an admin in the instance, or open a ticket to the Atlassian Support, if you are a named billing or technical contact.
There is a chat feature here https://support.atlassian.com/contact/#/ , where you can ask for assistance. Please try that if you aren't able to identify anyone in your organization who can help you.

Your Atlassian Cloud site has multiple active site-admins and organization-admins. You will need to contact one of them in order to have them grant you the needed role here.
If you are unaware of who your admin might be, then you can create a support case over in https://www.atlassian.com/company/contact/purchasing-licensing?redirectSource=sac-wac-redirect#/?inquiry_category=your_account to request the names of the administrators of your site. Someone from our support team should be able to disclose to you the names of your admins.
