Update the custom field - Reason for reopening of 2 lakh issues.

I wanted to update the custom field (Reason for reopening) of 2 lakh issues.

using JQL in script runner provide any script.

Welcome to the community.

What do you mean by "2 lakh"? You can simply set field value in post-functions.

Hi Tansu,

Thanks for your answer.But here user provided a JQL which contains 2 lakh issues & user wants to update one custom field for all this 2 lakh issues. Using Bulk edit option we can do that but here issues count high it might appears performace issue. So at once using script runner is there any option or any script will run on back end and its update all issue?
