Hello - I am trying to bulk update custom fields that were recently added to the project (ECQUALITY) I am working on for the existing tickets. I looked up ways to do it and found useful information. As I understand, I need to do CSV import and map 'issue key' so that existing tickets can be created rather than new tickets created. However, 'issue key' does not show up in the drop down menu when I try to map it, I can only find issue ID but that is a different field. The instruction I am following (https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/bulk-edit-issues-and-copy-the-value-of-one-field-to-another-1319243286.html) directs me to go "External system import tool (Jira settings > System > External system import" but I cannot find this option on my page. Do I need to have certain rights to be able to do what I am looking to do? If so, what is it and how can I get it?

Hi @Volkan Uzer and welcome to the Community!

You need Jira Admin rights to perform this external import. If you don't have that option, you would need to reach out to an administrator inside your organisation to do the import for you.

Hope this helps!
