Update Jira Service Desk Request URLs from /create/12 to create/RequestTypeName

We are hoping to update the Request Type URLs for our Service Desk to include the Request Type Name. So, for example instead of:
https://jira/servicedesk/customer/portal/1/create/12
It would be
https://jira/servicedesk/customer/portal/1/create/SystemIssue
Where System Issue is the Request Type name.
Is anyone aware of a way to do this, possibly in the WEB-INF file of Jira?
